I thank you God for most this amazing day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes

About Us

We as acupuncturists believe that our patients have a blueprint for health within them. It is our job to connect them to it and marvel at how the body can heal itself.

Colleen Olphie-Lippman

Licensed Acupuncturist, NCCAOM

Colleen Olphie-Lippmann is a nationally board certified, Connecticut licensed Classically Trained Five Element Acupuncturist. Colleen earned a Master of Acupuncture degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainsville, Florida. Prior to her studies at AFEA, Colleen received her Bachelor’s degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Her journey with Five Element Acupuncture began when she kept hitting dead ends with western medicine during her own illness. After a completely transforming first treatment, Colleen’s entire life course was redirected and serendipitously placed on the path of Five Element Acupuncture.

Colleen brings her safe, nurturing, non-judgmental presence to everyone she works with. Her clients appreciate her authentic care for their needs, and her ability to bring results they can feel. She is grateful everyday for the ability to help transform other people’s lives with this incredible medicine.

An avid explorer, Colleen's travels have led on a 500-mile spiritual pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago in Spain, a trip to Brazil to see the healer John of God, and a solo drive across the United States of America.

Colleen lives in Redding, CT, with her husband Josh, her son Samuel, and their Cairn Terrier, Romeo. Together as a family they love to hike, go to the beach and play ultimate Frisbee and Frisbee Golf.

(on sabbatical)

Licensed Acupuncturist, NCCAOM

Josh is currently on sabbatical from Radiant Health, but he first experienced acupuncture around 2000, for physical relief of sports related injuries. In 2001 he began treatment with a Classically Trained Acupuncturist for general wellness care.

The best way to describe the experience is that a spark was rekindled within his core. Josh was excited and wanted to pass this excitement to others. Josh studied Chinese Medicine at the Academy for Five-Element Acupuncture in Florida where he obtained a Masters in 2004 for his work there. Although his focus is on Acupuncture, he also has a degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Being given the privilege to practice Acupuncture from both the National and State boards, currently Josh is licensed in both Connecticut and New York. Following his training at AFEA, Josh studied under a Master Acupuncturist who has taught him many things, including always striving for the highest standards.

Josh continues to pass his enthusiasm for health and happiness in the treatment room. Josh’s clients are most taken by his gentle care and his ever-present awareness to ones needs. Working with others, Josh engenders a sense of joy and a feeling of utmost gratitude that he gets to be an integral part of so many people’s lives. This front row seat to the journey of so many helps keep him in awe of this amazing world we are all part of.

Josh is interested in everything under the stars… especially things that explain the why’s and how’s of the universe. No matter how much one explores, and learns about the workings of the universe, one only need to look inward for a true knowing. Josh strives for a better understanding of himself with each new breath. Far from perfect, he realizes that all people inherently want the same thing, to be happy. How one finds happiness is an individual affair, and is the unique reflection of the inner workings of the universe.
